|Proud of You, Big Brother
November 08, 2006
We knew that you have been busy, and we knew that you could not spend too much time home. We wondered, at times, "is it really that important" that you had to stand up and leave before we could finish a family meal together.
Now we know, that you have been indeed doing something very very important and you have made a difference out there.
You have had so many wonderful people around who love you as much as we do. They are helping us through this otherwise very hard time and telling us stories of your life outside the family.
Not to worry, we will take care of Mom who is so proud of you as we are too.

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now I'm found,
Was blind, but now I see.
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear,
The hour I first believed!
Through many dangers, toils and snares,
We have already come;
'Tis grace has brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.
The Lord has promised good to me,
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endures.
Yes, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease;
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.
